Presentation instructions

Oral Presentations

The time limit for each oral presentation is 20 minutes for the presentation and 5 minutes for the discussion and questions.

Poster size

The space allocated to display each poster is A0, portrait orientation (84 cm wide x 119 cm high).

During the poster session, the authors will have an opportunity to show a demonstration of their work. Please contact the organizers if you wish to show a demonstration.

Poster + Demonstration spotlight

The presenters of posters as well as the demonstrators will have an opportunity for a Spotlight presentation on Thursday morning. Each spotlight presenter will have 80 seconds to present the highlights of their poster/demo. Each presenter should compile a single Powerpoint slide describing only the highlights of their poster/demonstration. Take care not to use the slide for explaining the theory of your paper but rather explain why people should visit your poster. All slides will run automatically, so please give your microphone to the next presenter and leave the podium once your slide is flipped. You will not have access to the computer running the presentations and your slide should contain no “clickable” animations.

A Microsoft Powerpoint presentation template is available here. All spotlight presentations should be submitted to the cvww2016(AT) by Monday 1st of February 2016 evening.

The filename of your submitted spotlight presentation should be of the form “X.ppt” or “X.pptx”, where X stands for the corresponding author’s name+surname. Each spotlighter should come to the conference chairs on Thursday morning before the start of the first session to check whether the his/hers slide was received properly.
